Graduation Season

We had a very busy graduation season this year. We did a ton of 5th and 8th grade graduations. For us, it was a great opportunity to make our mark inside some of the newer schools we had never worked with before. The result was amazing! They all want us back for next year and have booked us for other events throughout the year. The graduations ranged from pool parties, private parties, formal dinner dances, and just formal dances.

The students had a blast! They loved our giveaway CD’s to our interaction we provided (conga line, limbo stick contect, twist contest, group dances etc). The dinner dances were awesome because it was an opportunity for the students to have a special night with their parents. They loved the party props we provided!

For the formal dances, the students loved the lighting package we provided. We brought professional trussing, with our lasers, scanners, and moving head lights. It created that club like feel for the 8th grade students.

For anyone interested in using us, we do all sorts of events for schools. We do fundraisers, charity events, school dances, crab feeds, carnivals, graduations, silent/live auctions, and plenty more. We also give schools a special discount rate since we know the state of the economy.

Miller Wedding

Wedding season is one of our favorite seasons because we receive the opportunity to work with wonderful couples on the most important days of their life. Over Memorial Day weekend, we were hired to be the DJ company at the Miller Wedding at the Presidio Golf Club in San Francisco. What a night it was! Adam and Deborah were amazing to work with and so appreciative of everything! We knew it was going to be a great night once we heard “The Way You Make Me Feel” being played for the brides processional song in the chapel.

The reception was amazing! We worked hand in hand to make sure we created the exact vision Adam and Deborah wanted for their special day. During the course of the evening, we had the opportunity to meet both sides of the family and they were dancing the night away. The grooms mother even brought out LED flashing rings out when we played “Single Ladies”. The photography company we worked with (Orange Photography) were awesome! They took a ton of amazing shots (www.orangephotography)!

The best part of the night was to see how thankful the bride and groom were at the end of the night. Adam must have said thank you about ten times, and Deborah just was in tears and gave us a big hug! It was quite a moment for us to be a part of. This moment is exactly why we love what we do!

Oh What A Night

We had a blast at Josh Sherman’s bar mitzvah at the end of April! The layout of the event was pretty basic, but the most important thing for Josh and his parents were that they had a dj company and a photographer (www.michaelfoxphotography.com) who can bring the guests together and have a great night. Well… we did! We played a couple of great games with them… “Huggy Game” and “Dancing with the Stars”. When it was time for the candle lighting, Josh stood up and gave an incredible speech about his family and friends. He is one of the most mature kids we have ever seen at a mitzvah event.

Finally, we danced the night away. We did a ton of group dancing, Y.M.C.A., Get Down Tonight, Macarena, Cha Cha Slide, twist contest, and the cat walk. By the time the evening was over, everyone was exhausted. The parents came up to us enthused! They said that this would be a night to remember, and they totally made our nights.

In addition, Verducci Entertainments rates are very reasonable. I would have gladly paid double for their services and still thought it was a great deal. I should probably book my daughter’s Bat-Mitzvah right now. As an entertainer, business professional and all round incredible guy, Andrew and Verducci Entertainment is the elite DJ service in the Bay Area.”

Mitzvah Season

Verducci Entertainment has been striving to expand their business in every which direction. The one facet that has really been growing at a fast pace is the amount of bar/bat mitzvahs we are doing. I believe that my staff is one of the best ones we can offer any family for a bar/bat mitzvah. Some companies are going to try to get you to pay extra for dancers, adding in “fancy” lights, and throwing in more than what is necessary in order to have a good night.

Our company offers everything that one of the top bar mitzvah companies do at a lower price and we make sure we give you that one on one time in order to make sure we have every detail covered about your event. What makes a bar mitzvah is not the fancy lights, trussing, or extra dancers, but it is truly your DJ and MC. Yes, it is nice to have the fancy lighting and trussing and to pay an arm and a leg for that, but if you don’t have the right MC or DJ for your event, none of that will matter.

Finally, a bar mitzvah is a time for the young man or girl to shine. This day is all about them, and you need to make sure that your DJ and MC understand that. Some companies make it a big production about them, when in fact, the spotlight should always be on the special boy or girl, and how the entertainment can take part in keeping the spot light on them.

We here at Verducci Entertainment will make sure that your young boy or girl has a bar/bat mitzvah that will be a night to remember and if for some reason we can’t do your event, we know some great companies that have this same vision. Your boy or girl will truly be the superstar at the end of the evening!
